About Me

I have been serving the New York Metro area and Long Island for over 44 years providing Psychoanalysis, Psychotherapy, Marital & Couples Therapy, EMDR treatment for Trauma past and present, Hypnosis, Individual and Group Supervision of the Therapeutic Process to Mental Health Professionals from all professions. Since the pandemic, I am available for therapy and supervision via various video platforms and by phone.

In addition to being in Private Practice, I maintain affiliations with several Psychoanalytic Institutes and Universities as a Training Analyst, Senior Supervisor, and Faculty Member.

    ’75-’79– Four year Full-Time Psychoanalytic Training Program–Awarded Fellowship for this Program
    ’79-’81– Two year Program in the Supervision of the Therapeutic Process–Received appointment as
    Supervisor in the Psychoanalytic Program at the conclusion of this program

    1972 – 1974

    Awarded scholarship from Adelphi University during 1st year of study. My field placement in the 1st year was the Bureau of Child Guidance.
    The 2nd year I was awarded a full scholarship by the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health which was also my field placement. PCMH became my professional home from 1973 to 2010 when they closed their World Renowned Psychoanalytic Training Program.
